Very interesting! This goes to show that brute strength doesn't always win. Even with a game from the 7th gen consoles.

I was hoping EA would let 360 versions run on the xbo but... nope. It's odd too as there are lots of other EA games that are BC but not one of the NFS entires.

Zhipp1161d ago

It could very well be licensing issues. I know things can get weird when it comes to these car companies.

BenRC011160d ago

Not paying £35 for this!

Wikkid6661160d ago (Edited 1160d ago )

Clearly a glitch, since it only happens in the same section of track.... and it's same section that had issues with the Xbox One X version of the game.

Other than 3 turns the game it's locked at 60 fps.

StoneyYoshi1159d ago

Still there, still matters. If it were the other way around, you probably wouldn't be saying this.

Destiny10801161d ago

PS5 a locked 60 fps, series x dropping frames down to 42 fps and the series s locked to 30 fps

Chevalier1161d ago

Weird to see DF go back to last gen versions to make excuses for the FPS drops. Have they done that when PS5 games had some blips like that too?

neutralgamer19921161d ago

Chevalier

No by now it's not a secret DF favor xbox brand

oof461161d ago

Funny. Both sides feel they the competition.

Zhipp1161d ago

Who knows? They've never done that with Xbox either afaik. Maybe it's something do during the process of researching for videos, but if it doesn't provide any useful information or context they're hardly going to bother including it in the video anyway. You guys are really reaching to find reasons to discredit DF these days.

GamerRN1161d ago

It's EA... 🤷🏼‍♂️

darthv721161d ago

I feel like Series X and PS5 are capable of much more than that though. Especially since the Pro was doing 4k/50+ and the X was doing 4k/60-. Maybe even a 120 mode is possible?

NeoGamer2321160d ago

This is clearly a development issue or bugs in the OS. XB One had no problems with 60 FPS racers. Never mind taking a two generation old racer and making it run on XB Series.

Cool framerate drops, bro.

Nah but seriously it runs fine at least

Retroman1161d ago

I would have loved this game more if cornering was not long and had to drift around the corner. also if it wasn't online , large map but had a menu and challenge mode like the original.

DeadSilence1161d ago

Bugs & tools again?

Series Consoles are absolute disaster at this point.

thesoftware7301161d ago (Edited 1161d ago )

A disaster?

Wow, thats a stretch.

Kavorklestein1161d ago

Oh well this game is blah anyway. Forza or Gran Turismo demolish this on every level and arguably look better and perform better too.

fsfsxii1160d ago

not even the same subgenre lmao
