Ranking 14 of James Bond videogame outings - worst to best. Can any of them come close to matching the movies fast action?
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
As No Time to Die caps off Daniel Craig’s role as 007, CGMagazine celebrates his own video game character through a unique but turbulent timeline with Activision.
I couldn't even name a Daniel Craig 007 game.
I play games still and constantly listen to video game podcasts but no Craig games are popping in my mind.
It's crazy because Brosnan had many that come to mind.
You already can’t purchase some of the games anymore. Bond games are notoriously horrendous with their licensing.
Casino Royale was pretty good, kinda downhill from there though IMO. Just let Bond die with dignity.
It’s been a while since the video game world was blessed with a James Bond title.
we have a lot of great video games and we have a lot coming out this year...lame
What's happened to the James Bond franchise in general?
It, much like Star Trek, Star Wars, has had too much of the "real world" shoved down their throats. That plus people with agendas hijacking them thinking they can use brand value to deliver "transformative" messaging while lacking the awareness, the creative talent, needed to make them entertaining at even a base level.
Also, getting back on subject, doesn't help that movie studios don't see gaming studios as equals who need as much if not more time to do their jobs right.
Yeah, come to think of it. Maybe their absence can be attributed to the falling popularity of the videogame adaptation or even the licensed franchise tie-in, as well as the gaming landscape being quite different now than it was. The Bond titles filled a niche of FPS-action titles, the likes of which are not exactly uncommon nowadays. That said, the Bond games were a fun take on the genre that I'd like to see return one day.
In no way is Agent Under Fire better than Nightfire. From Russia with Love, Agent Under Fire and Blood Stone are all generally considered worse than Nightfire.
Quantum of solace was the best.
The online was actually so good.
