In no way is Agent Under Fire better than Nightfire. From Russia with Love, Agent Under Fire and Blood Stone are all generally considered worse than Nightfire.

Vegamyster2759d ago

I never gave Russia or Blood Stone a go but i definitively liked Nightfire more than Agent under fire.

NarooN2759d ago

I agree somewhat. Agent Under Fire was okay for its time (it was basically the resurrected form of the canned next-gen version of TWINE), but Nightfire was better in every way.

Blood Stone was also a pretty good game and it's a shame that the studio who made it went under, because they were heavily hinting at a sequel to it as the game ended on a pseudo-cliffhanger.

Quantum of solace was the best.
The online was actually so good.

That game was pretty average, but I enjoyed it. The multiplayer was only good if you played Classic mode, otherwise it was just a shit-fest because the only gun anybody ever used was the stupidly-OP spas-12 which could be fired fully-auto, equipped with a suppressor (which didn't negatively impact the gun's performance at all), had insane range, and did absurd damage all at the same time. Not to mention no aiming was necessary, it was just "look in general direction of enemy and hold shoot button, reap rewards" lol

Clown_Syndr0me2759d ago

Was that the Semi Auto Sniper Shotgun? That was epic haha. I played in a group of r and when we discovered that gun it didn't seem that anyone else had clicked on yet. So we were like gods, until everyone else realised and that's when it went downhill.
Yep, I was one of those guys who everyone dislikes, but I had a great time doing it. In hindsight, the game was majorly flawed...good memories though lol.

Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10

I hope one day we get some remakes for the following

The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)

Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time

I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.

The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.

The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.

Here's hoping for an amazing sequel

The wha ... ?
Oh, Daniel Craig.

adamwparker911d ago

I couldn't even name a Daniel Craig 007 game.
I play games still and constantly listen to video game podcasts but no Craig games are popping in my mind.

It's crazy because Brosnan had many that come to mind.

ToddlerBrain911d ago

You already can’t purchase some of the games anymore. Bond games are notoriously horrendous with their licensing.

Christopher911d ago

Pretty much the same for all movie/tv show IPs out there, tbh.

ElvisHuxley911d ago

Casino Royale was pretty good, kinda downhill from there though IMO. Just let Bond die with dignity.

There were a few non-film ones back on PS2/GC that were really good.
I can imagine the cinematic elements of those games would look even better now.

DaReapa1445d ago

Everything or Nothing is my second best Bond game behind Goldeneye 64, followed by Nightfire.

fulldeepdive1445d ago

we have a lot of great video games and we have a lot coming out this year...lame

Godmars2901445d ago

What's happened to the James Bond franchise in general?

It, much like Star Trek, Star Wars, has had too much of the "real world" shoved down their throats. That plus people with agendas hijacking them thinking they can use brand value to deliver "transformative" messaging while lacking the awareness, the creative talent, needed to make them entertaining at even a base level.

Also, getting back on subject, doesn't help that movie studios don't see gaming studios as equals who need as much if not more time to do their jobs right.

Tross1445d ago (Edited 1445d ago )

Yeah, come to think of it. Maybe their absence can be attributed to the falling popularity of the videogame adaptation or even the licensed franchise tie-in, as well as the gaming landscape being quite different now than it was. The Bond titles filled a niche of FPS-action titles, the likes of which are not exactly uncommon nowadays. That said, the Bond games were a fun take on the genre that I'd like to see return one day.

DaReapa1445d ago

Activision's tenure with the license attributed to the lack of quality games.

roadkillers1445d ago

That's true. You couldn't get past the PS2 days without a movie tie in. Now, I can't think of the last game tie in.. even Star Wars was different
