Sonic '06 was supposed to be the chosen one. It was supposed to revitalize the franchise, not become one of it's biggest stain. It was supposed to show Sonic had a place in the 3D market of platformer, not become a running gag.
Now even Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric has displaced it as the worst rated Sonic game. Which is a shame after the Sonic franchise was on an uphill quality train with Sonic Rush Afventure, Sonic Colors, Sonic All-Stars Racing, Sonic Generations, Sonic 4:Ep2 and Sonic All-Stars Racinh Transformed then Boom had to ruin everything
I dont trust them anymore.. They ruined a great franchise especially w the american nathan drake approach
What's most surprising is that all of the shit Sega has put out with Sonics name on it in recent years an the franchise STILL has a hardcore following.
I used to count myself among them but I've been burned one too many times.
Sonic Colors was amazing
Sonic Racing Transfomred was amazing. Love the Wii U version with 5 local multiplayer greatness.
Sonic Generation was very good
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 was average but it was fun
Sonic Lost World is fun and very good game
Sonic Rush/Adventures were very good as well
Sonic Chronicles was terrible though but battle system was fun but Bioware wtf
I never got into sonic. I mean he runs really really fast and collects rings instead of coins. What else does he do?? Not hating just wondering.
