"But whereas New ‘n’ Tasty feels like a love letter to its origins, Legend of Kay feels confused and restricted by its source."
Playasia has deals this week on a mix of modern PS4, PS5, and Switch games like Legend of Kay Anniversary and Doom Eternal along with some retro classics and imports.
If you are in the market for a good action adventure game, Legend of Kay is sadly not going to meet your expectations. It is a decent game that has aged terribly and the efforts to remaster it haven't really brought it up to the current generation standards.
The Nintendo Channel: "3D platformers were huge hits at the turn of the century, but maybe this one should have stayed there."
It's a really fun game. It has flaws like the camera but overall it's a good game. Disagree with this review.
I enjoy GR a lot but this review didn't clicked with me, I'm not a fan of the game, is just that the article didn't seem to be fair or accurate enough, it's just pointing out dated mechanics in an HD port of a regular platform game form the PS2 era, to resume the article, let's say some of this stuff and rant a little about how big budgets remakes of classic games put this little game to shame and point out that the cartoon characters are like racist stereotypes, put the lowest score and call it a day.
I give this review a 1/5.
The game is awesome and really fun, of course it's not perfect, but it's way better than what reviews are saying.
Well, i guess if the game was a generic moba, would have a great score...
