There are many good things you can learn from video games and Kirsten talks about five that she holds close to her heart in this opinion piece.
CCG writes - "I completed planetarian: Snow Globe in around 90 minutes. Thankfully, the price is very reasonable, and it can only go lower if they offer it on sale, making it an entirely fair value. Given the relatively short runtime and low price, it's a nice companion for fans of planetarian HD. I'm also pleased to say that the moral concerns are fairly light as well. If you enjoyed planetarian, then I'd say that planetarian: Snow Globe is worth your time. While you could probably play this one first if you must, I would probably recommend reading planetarian HD before this title."
In this case, it's quantity over quality.
The Outerhaven writes: Split/Second was the explosive arcade racing game that outshone Ridge Racer and Burnout. That is, until Disney shut it all down before a sequel could happen.
This is a very thought provoking article. To me the greatest thing about video games is they allow you to live out your fantasies and hobbies! It doesn't matter if you like racing, sports, or slaying dragons there's a game for everyone.
Some more useful than others, but an interesting list. Playing games like Killzone and Battlefield probably helped a great deal with my attention to detail, as I'm typically the one spotting all the enemies(except the ones invariably behind me).
But yeah, between movies and games, I think I'm adequate prepared- mentally- for almost any situation.
