DualShockers talked with the General Manager of Sony Computer Entertainment Italy, and asked him whether the new PlayStation Plus Bonus might be extended to other countries.
Europe has always been a strong market for Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Italy has certainly been among PlayStation's strongholds in the continent, even more so with the PS4 generation.
During a PlayStation an event hosted yesterday in Milan's trendy fashion district, Twinfinite talked to Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy General Manager Marco Saletta about the introduction of the service, the situation for the PS4 in the local market, and the future.
“There have been trends that helped the adoption of the platform over the years: the exclusives on which we worked in a timely manner shown that this is the way to go. Exclusive content is the way to go to improve.”
This man gets it. Sony knows how to make great exclusives and that is what sells a console.
It's been the truth for decades. Usp's are effective in many industries. Every other metric takes a back seat. Some people understand this whilst others try and use other metrics to mask and swerve.. . . .
and that's why PlayStation will remain the undisputed king of the world.
Nothing wrong with MP, or even GaaS, but not if it's what you put out the most. Sony seems to have found a good balance, and its paying off more because their closest competition is focusing so heavily on other things, chasing dollar trends, instead of customer trends.

Which is a shame, because this would have been an awesome month for PSplus.
Unfortunately for myself, I have already packed up my PS3 (and 360) to clear some shelf space when I got my X. Hopefully for next gen (and if the patent rumors are true) Sony will offer a lot more titles on PS+ that range from all their previous consoles.
Yeah, but you don't get MGS4 playable on the PS4. That would have been cool to have the PS3 PS+ free games playable on PS4.
That doesn't change the fact that it's a great month for PlayStation+ members.

For PS4 the 2 AAA games are: For Honor & Hitman 1; while the 2 indie games are: Gunhouse & Rogue Aces
For Xbox One the 2 AAA games are: Assassin's Creed: Rogue & Star Wars: Jedi Academy; while the 2 Indies games are: Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon & Super Bomberman R...
The only difference is that the 2 AAA games for Xbox One are old gen games…while the 2 AAA games for PS4 is current gen

Yeah, not really comparing the offerings from both Xbox and PlayStation though.
But GWG already offered For Honor a while ago and Hitman is on Game Pass for anyone who subscribes to enjoy.
So its not an awesome month for anyone because you packed up your PS3? smh Still a better month for Plus then GWG regardless.

If you look at each services free games. You will see that GWG also has re-released a couple titles multiple times, and that Plus tends to beat it to the punch with more relevant titles that make their way to Live a month or more after.
Do you mean that GWG has offered the same game free more than once b/c no I'm pretty sure they haven't. Also both services tend to have a lot of carryover. trackmania Turbo and Trials Fusion were on GWG long before they came to PS+.
