WQ 47: What’s your expectations for E3 2015?

Noah says, "We’re just over one month from this year’s E3 2015, which is quite literally the biggest video game conference of the year. With that, a lot of news is released during that week, and for that reason, this week we’ll be conducting some overall expectations for this year’s E3. Let’s begin!"

I just want a ton of gameplay and Sony to bring the MGS 5 bundle to the west.

Excluding Nintendo, I think E3 will be great for everyone.

But I think the PS4 will have the best one because of Third party exclusives that grab headlines and attention post E3, due to the drama of them being exclusive.

That's what I've been hearing, we shall find out soon.

They definitely had the most entertaining show out of the big 3 last year.

"Third Party exclusives" That was the golden argument last gen and highly looked down upon and now its highly recommended suddenly.

@Transistor If you personally look forward to that then that's completely fine, but why do I have a feeling the rest of the Sony fans will agree with you.

It will be another hypocritical milestone.

The same thing as everyone else, for Fallout 4 to be revealed. I also expect Nintendo to announce some new games and character DLC for Smash Bros.

I honestly don't expect much of anything first party. I think it is far more likely Square, Bioware, Bethesda and EA will big the big news. Of course , Halo, Star Fox and Uncharted will be there but that's no surprise at this point.

@ this years E3 I think there's going to be some really big surprises.

I think VR is going to be the heart of the show.

Another thing, It would be a big big surprise if MS bought Sega. If true than MS will certainly have a better chance grabbing Japanese gamers attention, especially if they own the shenmue franchise.

Hoping for a price drop and the announcement of online multiplayer no longer being tied to subscription, for PS4.
Those two combined would make me start saving for one so I can enjoy games like KHIII and FFXV.
If they want to guarantee I'll save for one, they'll announce an SKU that does both those things on top of restoring physical backwards compatibility support for PS3 games.

Microsoft announcing the same might make me want a One for games like Halo and Scalebound.

Nintendo could impress me by announcing yet another new IP like Splatoon, but what I want most is a June or July release date for Xenoblade X and Devil's Third.
They'd also get some sales out of a price drop, but they might go right back to selling at a loss in order to maintain that position, and I don't want to see them make that mistake when it might result in the system going out without having earned them any profit.
It took Sony nearly a full decade to recoup losses from a similar move, and although Nintendo's finances aren't in any trouble thanks to recently posted profits, it wouldn't do them any favors to take unnecessary losses.
If they can't get some reasonable indication that sales would massively benefit from another price drop, they might hold off on it.
