Carl Williams writes, "Fat Princess is one of those games that either pissed people off due to the naming nomenclature used and they never checked it out. Or, people got over the name and played the game on their Playstation Portable (PSP) or Playstation 3. While I won’t bring up the ignorant underlying tone of the “fat” princess and how, in those games, I will do my best to focus on the actual gameplay. Just let it be known that I do not agree with the lack of culture based understanding of the developers/publishers. Otherwise, there is a pretty good match 3 game underneath, too bad most people will not be able to enjoy it due to the name attached."

Review for Fat Princess: Piece of Cake on PlayStation Vita. Will the princess finally get her just desserts? Fat Princess has had a few incarnations over the years and this installment sees her royal plumpness in a freemium match-three puzzler. Although this may set off a few red flags, its clever utilization of RPG elements makes it quite an enjoyable experience. However, the question remains; is it worth sticking around for dessert or should you cut this meal short?
