just do a wireless transfer and you safe having to unscrew the New 3DS to remove the micro SD card. Although that could take a while if you have a lot of downloaded stuff on your old 3DS.

it still is slow as balls though doing the wireless method. Mine is almost done and we are at about the 90 min mark.

But the wireless option is there if you don't want to do any unscrewing. Just make sure the batteries are nice and charged in both (or have them both plugged in)
