Junkie Monkeys: One thing I was eager to get my hands on at E3 this year was Project Morpheus. Here are my impressions on Sony’s future VR device as well as my concerns for it.
Recent findings in the latest PSVR2 software update, indicates that PlayStation is already starting to implement support for PC.
The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
Warner Bros. Discovery is closing down Adult Swim Games, delisting its published games. Thus putting Rick and Morty VR in jeopardy.
VR doesn't have to be isolating, there are some amazing social platforms out there. Here are the seven best VR social worlds to explore.
I agree with the video. I haven't been sold on Morpheus because I want to see more. I own Move (2 wands, navi and gun attachments), I own 2 Sony 3D monitors and 3 pair of glasses... I like them, but there really isn't any/much current support to speak of.
I don't have the disposable cash I had 5 years ago, so throwing down on Project Morpheus will be determined by what happens at the market. If there are tons of sales and support, I may buy one, if it has a slow start, I'll wait and see what happens. I've played VR several times, all the way back to its infancy in the 90's, and it's cool, but I'm more impressed with a great story driven, traditional game.
And i can watch my 3d blurays on it! :-D
