Three Maps That Need to Return in Battlefield 4

While shooters are generalized as “$60 map packs” by people that don’t play them, the changes from game to game in multiplayer shooters are about more than “new maps”. In the case of Battlefield 4, there is an overhauled progression system and “Levelution”, DICE’s new dynamic environment shifting mechanic. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 had a retro map pack, bringing classic maps into the modern franchise entry, as did Battlefield 3. Here are the maps that most need to be brought to the newest installment in the series. (Battlefield 4, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

BACKSTAB!!!! We need more Bridge Too Far, Little Big Eye and Cold Front as well.

Cold front was awesome too but was sos underplayed. It would be a great Rush map! Backstab was on rotation 24/7 though and it was so good!

Let's reach way back. How about Kursk with modern weapons?

I always wanted an expanded version of Oasis for Rush. Expand the territory on the opposite sides of the river, add some more buildings over there and move a few capture points to that sides.

Africa Harbor, Oasis, Isla Inocentes.

Oasis, yes. The other two, ehhh. Arica Harbor was a great map though.

Africa Harbor was dope as hell. Isla Inocentes would be cool, especially if they brought back the Hind. Plus wit more players, you'd be able to mave more fighting in the water as well.

Another good map to bring back would be Valparaiso. Especially wit 64 players.

Africa Harbor was my favorite map on BC 2.

what we don't need are bf3 maps

Op metro is the only bf3 map that i hated. Nothing but spawn trapping and wall glitching.
Hufandpuf  +   271d ago
I hope when they remake it they make it like they did with Operation Locker. There are a lot of choke points but also a lot of flank routes aswell.

I love most of the bf3 maps as well, it just feels too soon to be getting them in bf4

lack of research here. . . Metro is also confirmed as coming in the Second Assault DLC, along with Caspian Border, Oman, and Firestorm.

The article says the author doesn't want it back. In what way is that lack of research?

Flood should disappear, worst map in my opinion. I only like it for Rush.
