Bayonetta is one of those unsung gems of the current generation of gaming. It’s a fast paced, kinetic, rewarding third person action/brawler with some tight controls, fluid combat, and that uniquely Japanese sensibility to its story that treads a fine line between insanity and tastelessness. While it didn’t rake in the dough on either the Xbox 360 or the PS3 (though it was used heavily as a reference point in console war arguments due to the shoddy PS3 port) Nintendo saw fit to come to the rescue of Platinum Games and publish the sequel, so unsurprisingly, this is a Wii U exclusive. And what an exclusive it is. Of all the games available at Nintendo’s E3, this is the one that felt the least “Nintendo,” and makes action fans genuinely sad if they don’t own a Wii U.

Yet the Switch is much more powerful than the Wii U - the platform the second game released on. So you're just being negative to be negative with that comment.
I thought they focused on big kaiju like fights which felt gimmicky and thy brought this new character in to try and get away from the leading star

I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
Nintendo has updated Bayonetta 2 to version 1.2.0 and they have also shared the patch notes for this update on the Nintendo Switch.
Bayonetta 2 is more...Conservative...maybe she is running for President. Politics aside, I would suggest turning Bayonetta into an MMO, to gain more revenue but She's Playing way much more better in this Game. May she safely rescue her dear friend.

Graphics look a major upgrade over Bayonetta2 and the action is much smoother.
