Battlefield 4 – Carrying Stats and Unlocks From Current- to Next-Gen Consoles “Is Being Discussed”

MP1st - With the uncertainty of exact release dates for Microsoft and Sony's next-generation of gaming consoles, many hardcore console gamers are forced to consider purchasing their favorite AAA blockbuster hits like Call of Duty or Battlefield twice this fall: once for either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, and then once again at a later date for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Im just gonna wait for the PS4 edition to release.

I want the PS4 to release at the end of October, because to be honest...I don't want to wait a month to play BF4 on next gen.

Not sure what i feel, unlocks feel so rewarding when you get what you want, but on the other hand it feels it's just too much of a grind

I like re-unlocking stuff and earning stuff in game.

It gives me that sense of accomplishment and a drive towards something else...that " just one more game " mentality.

Exactly. This is why I started over after being Colonel 100 for too long, no motivation after that point.

And what's worse is that when you do reach lvl 100, all you get is a golden dog tag! wouldn't it be sweet to unlock the xm8 or some exclusive pistol after reaching 100?

just wait. I'm not buying anymore current gen releases for games that will release for next gen consoles.. such as bf4, watch dogs, etc.

exceptions are gta5 and gt6.. for obvious reasons ha.

you know what's also being discussed is what supermodel they'd rather spend a night with, and that ain't gonna happen either
