[News] Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Expansion — My Body is Finally Ready

Capcom’s 2012 action-RPG Dragon’s Dogma will be given a massive expansion this April 23rd in North America and April 26th in Europe. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will include all content from the original game with new locations such as a huge underground realm and a place called Bitterblack Isle, rife with new enemies and challenges. For newcomers to the series, you’ll be glad to know this will all be available for just $39.99. There will be rewards for veterans though, which you can read about after the jump. (Capcom, Dev, Dragon's Dogma, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, PS3, Xbox 360)

I have a serious love/hate relationship with this game. I love the combat and character building, and I absolutely HATE the bugs I've encountered.

So glad I waited to play this. I knew Capcom all too well.

I cant wait either. One of my favorite games last year. Will my save from the last game work? It must, otherwise they will alienate so many of the hardcore fan base and not make much money. Assuming i can use my save, i will buy it in a second. I guess i can sell the copy i have now. Very odd how they did this considering that all old copies will become useless basically.

I'm kinda a bit confused... So if you already have the original game, basically you should sell it now and get the Dragon's Dogma expansion pack when it comes, as it will have the original game with the extras correct? And I'm guessing that they will have some program to show you bought the original game to get the extra benefits of buying the original game?
