I hope WWE video game franchise will continue to live on.

The most in depth Franchise mode you've ever seen in terms of realism and stats.

* College Hoops 2k8

* MLB 2k12

Go take a look around at ^ their menu systems and the amount of detail and stats and just pure fun you can have.

I'll sometimes play 2-3 seasons within my franchise without ever playing a game. Just recruiting or drafting and building a team.

You guys are in for a real treat if 2k steps their game up and inputs similar options into the wrestling game.

I don't think people really understand the true potential this has for the wrestling genre as a whole.

Be Prepared to play WW14 or WWE 15 like you would any other sports game. You will be much more invested in what you have created.

^ That is if things fall into place how I think they will.

It will dude & I think 2k Will give us fans what we want & maybe more alot better servers thats for sure.2k Sports has alot of Potential & I think they will give us something we have all been waiting for i hope

jjb19814101d ago

Hopefully they'll fix hit detection!

Frozensilence4100d ago

i think everything will be fixed alot more features will be added

The_Klank4101d ago

The whole combat system needs to be revamped so that actual player vs player matches are fun.

Oh and speaking of PvP, fix the online servers. Thqs were some of the worst.

Whats next for WWE games… 2K games,Well, you never get a second chance to make a good impression….

WWE 13 attitude era mode was really fun, i liked playing those epic matches during that era. but that was the only reason i really bought it. So lets hope 2k games changes the WWE franchise dramatically.

Are Wrestling Games Getting Worse?

Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.

Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.

I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.

The Wood1560d ago

Anyone remember Giant Gram Wrestling on the Dreamcast .....

Rambokind1560d ago

Ah hell yes! That was loads of fun.

Acecalibur1560d ago

Fire Pro just gets better. Buy it.

micdagoat191560d ago

I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

Golden Era of wrestling games in the Golden Era of wrestling. I've been contemplating going back and getting a N64 and getting those classic's
WWF Wrestlemania 2000
WWF No Mercy
WCW vs. nWo Revenge

micdagoat191556d ago

Yeah its the only wrestling games I still play consistently for fun.

TheTony3161560d ago

Yes. The last great wrestling game was svr 2006.

addictedtochaos1560d ago

Yes, the WWE ones at least. The last good one was 2K14 and the last great one was Here Comes the Pain.

Games we’re ashamed to admit we play

MyGaming: "We all secretly love a number of games we’d never tell anyone else about, games that make us seem like simpletons, suckers or sellouts.

They’re games that are way below our age group, games we know are critical failures, games that are embarrassing to play in a group or that the community despise in general.

Nevertheless, we play them, and we enjoy them too – when no one is looking of course.

These are the games most often spoken about in hushed tones by so many of us"

I'm not so much ashamed for having played SingStar as I am sorry for the people that were listening to it.

And Lego games are fun. No need to be ashamed for playing them imo.

Spotie3202d ago

SingStar was one of our party games. We usually wound up competing boys against girls. Us boys always won.

Army_of_Darkness3202d ago

Karaoke American Idol is much better than singstar... Great drunken party game :-) and I enjoyed lollipop chainsaw as well lol!

WildArmed3202d ago

Definitely no shame in Lego games.

As for just dance and other similar gams, party games are super fun... As long as you aren't playing alone :P

GoPanthers9993202d ago

Plants vs Zombies GW and Splatoon - I am 44, I don't tell anyone that I play these. Both are great games.

wonderfulmonkeyman3202d ago

The only one I felt ashamed of owning, off the top of my head, was TMNT: Smash Up.
I got rid of it not long afterwards, though, so I'm not sure that counts...
I guess maybe Child of Light?
I love the story and combat, but Ubisoft hasn't really done much in the last 3 years to warrant my patronage outside of that game, so I guess I feel a little guilty about giving them money for it when they've burned me so many times before...

DeeboSlice3202d ago

Child of Light was excellent. No shame for that one. It is just a sleeper.

wonderfulmonkeyman3202d ago

Like I said, I like the game.
Just not the company.

Why I’m Looking Forward to WWE 2K14

Frontburnr: For years, people have been begging for innovation out of the WWE series. Year after year, Yuke’s will add a feature, but remove certain moves. Really obvious inclusions will be taken out, and a random character will be added. The series has suffered from “Madden syndrome” for a while in that it produces very few innovations, yet churns out a yearly sequel.
