i get treated like royalty :)

Sadly there is really no way to stop this bad behavior online. Online gaming networks will continue to be a terrible source of sexism, racism, and people acting their downright worse.

But of course pushing people away from the gaming industry isn't a bad thing right guys? Coz it's just SO difficult to share our favorite hobby with others and not be complete *** holes to them?

iamnsuperman4216d ago

I agree there is no realy way to report these people. The banning people doesn't do much i they can just make another account. This is something I hope the next generation of consoles sort. I usually mute everyone online because who wants to here racial/sexist/general bad talk (as well as people balring out music which tends not to sound great through the mic which is more inconsiderate but not a huge deal)

Pwncess0744217d ago

I'll never understand how someone giving you crap would make you stop playing. There's always the option to mute and block someone. People give each other crap online all the time, male and female, just play the game and get over it.

Then she is obviously to stupid to use the

1. Mute
2. Block
3 report

functions.

Godmars2904216d ago

While true at the same time when such becomes a standard requirement to your game sessions does the game itself continue to be fun? Does it not just take away from the reason to play a game.

AO1JMM4216d ago

It isn't that bad at least not in my experience. You will never (unless you only play with friends at home) play a game with 100% mature gamers. All she has to do is at least block the people that annoy her and if they are truly offensive then report them and block them as well.

MultiConsoleGamer4217d ago

Idiots didn't make her stop. She punked out.

As if men don't face trolling, harasment and other nonsense when they game online....

It's like she's implying she deserves special treatment just because she's a woman.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
