When considering top tier shooter games for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Crysis is right at the top. Developer Crytek has crafted a popular series in Crysis and now they seek to bring their skills to an often ignored market: free games. The idea that free games provide little to see as there is no monetary incentive is not one shared by Crytek CEO Cervat Yerli.
The game looks good, especially for a free to play game, but it doesn't outshine Battlefield. ..at least not in terms of graphics or scale.

The trailer only really "looked great" because of how the camera andles and motion was made to be cinematic.
As far as comparing graphics to BF3.. it's subjective. I am not a fan of the brownish look of Warface.. (Not a fan of the blue/green tint of Battlefield 3 either.. Now Crysis 2 had some contrast but that's a different topic).
Hope this free to play game is fun.. but I bet the hackers would run rampant.
If I look at a BF3 trailer and compare it to Warface Trailer, I'm telling you, Warface looks better.
But, like tubers said, it's the cinematic effects that adss to the realism. I don't see how this game could be bad. It's out in Russia already.
And freakin free. Or at least it will be. But also, on tricked out Rig, the graphics and sounds effects I think will out do most shooters.
If Crytek wants to make Free Games, the new model, they're going to go all out and make a good case for it, change minds about what a Free Game Represents. I'm betting they hav put their best foot forward on this one.
The Name of the game is weird though. "Warface?"
