Lionhead Studios is not planning more Fable Heroes games, it has revealed.
Producer Ted Timmins said that while the studio will continue its annual Creative Day - which was where the idea for the downloadable spin-off originated - it has no plans to further pursue the series.
"While Fable Heroes was designed to be an incentive for Fable: The Journey - with the cross-over and transfering your gold across - that particular franchise at the moment doesn't have any further plans," he said.
"But Creative Day is happening in November, so keep your eyes peeled. I certainly have an idea lined up so I can't wait, so we'll see if it can happen again. It's not Fable Heroes 2, I can tell you that."
When asked if the studio was still interested in smaller projects, Timmins replied: "Without question. If I was to say two things that I think are key about Lionhead, it would be innovation and creativity.
"I think Creative Day provides both, and hopefully you might be able to see something next year."
Fable Heroes launched 10 years ago today, and is a worthwhile revisit on your Xbox Series X|S as you await the upcoming reboot.
Great little side scroller, now if we could only get a Pub Games and Coin Golf combo release.
In February on Xbox One, race across a legendary mountain course in TT Isle of Man and then dive deep into the depths of Lovecraftian horror in Call of Cthulhu. On Xbox 360, and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, enjoy a fresh spin on a beloved franchise in Fable Heroes then play an all-time classic in Star Wars Battlefront.
I thought BF was already offered on gold..... Or was that BF2?
As for the others, I been wanting to play TT and CoC so I'm good with these.
Call of Cthulhu is pretty good. I got the plat on ps4 so I’m not downloading. Don’t care about the others.
"Sensible World of Soccer, GRID Autosport and Fable Heroes are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today"

I remember playing Sensible Soccer on the Amiga back in the 90's. That game was legendary for its time. Couldn't play it now though, can't deal with the graphics.
I feel like they are saying no more Kinect bullshit for our series Microsoft, but ya never know. This new thing could be Kinect adventure as well.
