To revitalize the series, Harmonix has released Rock Band Blitz, a peripheral-less, downloadable, and completely single player entry in the franchise. Even though it changes up both the direction and play style of the series, Rock Band Blitz is an awesome game and a revitalizing shot in the arm to the music genre.

I only play a few times per year anymore but what about the songs that lost their contract and had to be removed? Should I not let it update?
The songs just get removed from the store. So long as you've already bought and downloaded them, you're fine to do any updates.

The Rock Band Blitz transfer shakout continues as the Rock Band music store makes its way to the final update on April 2. Rock Band Blitz is $15 and all 25 tracks are compatible with Rock Band.
