Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Review - AusGamers

AusGamers has reviewed Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor and writes:

"It had been years since Sergeant Powers had piloted a vertical tank, but the scene seemed so familiar. The VT perched on its legs in regulation khaki camouflage, even the crew was regulation, the Italian-American with attitude that swore too much, the minority African-American that spoken nothing but street slang, not to mention the over-nervous radio operator. No, not much had changed, even in 2082. Well there had been some changes of course, there was the silicone-eating virus that decimated computer systems worldwide in 2020 for one, and of course the Chinese, or Uncle as they were called, invaded America. But truth be told that hardly registered, like it was skipped over or unrecognisable in its introduction, suffocated at the hands of cliched military rhetoric..." (Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, Xbox 360) 4/10

Just the latest bomb in the list of games that David Dennis said would satisfy core gamers.

I know I should refrain from even commenting, but...

well, I'm certain SOMEONE will have a reason why this review is wrong, and why all the others which give it a 4.3 average are wrong.

Oh I didn't know this was a PS3 game.

What that really means is he has personal issues and proves what a blatant fanboy he is. Why he continues to comment in articles that are no interest to him is beyond me other than some disturbing conflict he has with XBOTs that probably at one time trashed a Playstation 3 exclusive.

Hicken then writes:

So? Don't you do the same thing with Gravity Rush whenever a lower than expected review arrives? Tell us, did you do the same thing with Sorcery? Sorcery got pretty bad reviews too, were you acting like this in those topics? I doubt it, you seem to keep all that negativity and ignorance aside until the time comes when it's to do with Microsoft related games because you think carrying on this conflict between Playstation 3 fanboys and XBOX360 fanboys is somehow productive and healthy.

Hicken, you shouldn't care if this game got 10's across the board and sold 10 million copies or if it got 1's across the board in reviews and only sold 10,000 copies. You're not interested in Kinect, Kinect enabled games or any game on the XBOX360 for that matter. So do everyone a favour and get a life. Stick to talking about what interests you instead of being a goof just for the sake of being a goof.
