Zombie U Shown Off At Nintendo's E3 Conference

Today Ubisoft's Zombie U was shown off at Nintendo's E3 Conference.

The pre view video shows us that the game is an FPS and looks Left 4 Dead Esque. You will be able to use the Wii U game pad as a map to see where zombies are located and also as a scope for long-range shots.

This confrence is not really impressing me at all right now.

But ZombiU looked great.

Hopefully that will change.

I'm mostly interested in the Nintendo Network/Miiuniverse, but there are so few answers and so many questions. Will there be trophies/achievements? Zombi U will sell because it will be an exclusive hardcore game at launch on Wii U. Technically it doesn't even have to be good to sell.

No price or release date has me worried. That's always a bad sign for hardware that's touted as ready for this holiday season.

ZombiU looks awesome! I feel like it's a small opponent for The Last of Us, which is an incredibly hard fight to win at this point so I'm not sure how that'll end up, but it's still interesting.

Anyone else notice that while the character checked his backpack the game didnt pause? thats kinda scary, when your checking your backpack anything could creep up and jump on you.

Yeah. They used the same mechanic in Resident Evil: Outbreak. It was awesome!

Only game looked good but was nowhere near next gen visuals. Can easily be done on ps3 or xbox

They always do. This year Sony might have had a great conference but I'm always going to remember "Wonderbook".

I think everyone had eyes on Nintendo, the stage was set for them to really show us all the Wii U. All we ever see is the controller, I think they should focus a bit on the console, release date, release date games, online functions, I mean will the online feature voice support or just text? Are there achievements? What is the price point? How much is the Pro controller or another Game Pad?

These were all questions I wanted answered. I was happy to see that it looks like Nintendo will get some 3rd party support, but they really needed a Zelda game to kick people in the face.

All in all, Ubisoft seemed to be everywhere and probably had the best show. Nintendo's show was pretty decent for what they were actually able to fit in. Sony and Microsoft are phoning it in so they can prepare for next years E3 and new consoles, clearly.

Most importantly, we have a new RIIIIIDGE RAAAAAACER! meme and that is "Wonderbook". What a huge fail that thing was, and it took up like 20-30 minutes of the show.

This E3 was far worse than last year for Nintendo! It seemed as though games that could really showcase the systems abilities were nowhere to be found and these are epic blunders by Nintendo. Not small little mishaps! Reggie's interview with Geoff Keighley seemed as though Reggie was pleased with what they have shown for WiiU... which would be complete delusion if he thinks so
