Mighty Switch Force! and Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition go on sale in the Nintendo eShop today. Pilotwings flies onto the Wii U Virtual Console, while Sonic Drift 2 speeds onto the 3DS VC.
We’ve taken a look at what indie characters we think would be exciting to see in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
GameCrate: "By now, everyone knows how bad Mighty No. 9 is. Whether you've actually played the game or not, you know. And though it's human nature to dwell unnecessarily on every negative thing that happens, I think it's time we moved on from this recent fiasco. Luckily, there's really no shortage of great games out there, so I've put together a list of rad indie action titles to play instead of Mighty No. 9."
Nintendo's latest console debuted three years ago today and it's seen some great downloadable titles so far. Here, I list the ten best eShop exclusives that came out since Wii U's launch, so clear some internal memory and let the downloading begin!
I've never been able to get my gamepad charged and ready. Every single time I feel like playing a WiiU game, it's dead, dead, dead.
Lovin these multi-eShop/multi-VC weeks for 3DS. Hope it's not done now that they've dished out all the announced Game Gear games
Pretty lackluster week I know a few people were wanting Pilot Wings but come on Nintendo you can do better ;)
I recently did a fair (but not complete) analysis of the Virtual Console service, comparing the release dates of titles across all three regions on Nintendo's three most recent platforms (WiiU, Wii and 3DS).
What I found was this: on average, most games release in the other two regions within a 1-3 week window; the shortest time between regions was 1 week, the longest time around 7 weeks.
So, what that means is this: assuming Nintendo is able to sustain their historic momentum with the WiiU virtual console (and from the Japanese offerings this seems to be the case) we can expect to see the virtual console in NA and EU start to pick up steam this summer.
So, what I'm saying is this: yes, it sucks, but we should be getting some good stuff like Secret of Mana, FFIII and Breath of Fire pretty soon.
