How a Picnic Shaped the Development of Sports Champions and Its Sequel

Push Square: "Despite the device being on the market for over two years now, few developers have managed to get the same precision out of the PlayStation Move as Zindagi Games. The second-party studio – which is based in the heart of sunny California – describes itself as a motion control specialist, having already shipped three top titles for the peripheral.

"Among the company’s back catalogue is Sports Champions, the very first showpiece title for the PS3’s anticipated motion device. Developed alongside first-party powerhouse Sony San Diego, the game was packaged alongside every new wand in North America, making it the best selling PlayStation Move title to date. It was an opportunity that the developer recalls being both 'scary and exciting'."

Wow. This article is like 5 years too late?

And also? The Wonderbook games, namely the two Harry Potter ones, Book of Spells and Book of Potions, were probably the best Move games... yet this article doesn't mention them.

Mr_cheese2620d ago

Resistance 3 doesnt get a mention either and that game was brilliant when used with the sharp shooter

bu3ouf912620d ago

No Crash Bandicoot or Syphon Filter?

bggriffiths3138d ago

Think Activision currently own Crash license. Which is a waste really if they're not going to use it. Not that the last game they did with it was any good.

donwel3138d ago

Activision own Spyro as well don't they?
I seem to remember the Skylanders franchise starting as a Spyro spin off.

Abnor_Mal3138d ago

i would like a reboot/remake of G-Police and Colony Wars, and of course Syphon Filter. Wouldnt mind a remake of Nightmare Creatures and Jet Moto. Theres more games but those are a few that i would be really happy to get on PS4.

Der_Kommandant3138d ago

I'd have loved to see a new Colony Wars on PS4.

FarEastOrient3138d ago

A reboot with VR is perfect for Colony Wars!

donwel3138d ago

Was was already rebooted on PS3 in 2012.

Yui_Suzumiya3138d ago (Edited 3138d ago )
