I am inclined to agree that Sony hasn't given the system proper support, but third party support for the system is strong, though maybe not from the studios one would expect. I am of course talking about the high degree of support from Japan.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
I've said it before and I will say it again.
The PS Vita is one of the finest pieces of gaming tech I have ever owned in my entire life.
I also see heavy Japanese dev support as a big plus.
It best supports is Japanese Games no one arguing that.
Localization of them is what Vita owners fighting for and new ones.
I love me some Japanese games, I just hope a big japanese publisher puts a game on Vita that attracts more people. We can't rely on P4G now that it will be 2 years old in a few months.
It took me 20 seconds of staring at the picture to notice, but what's with the 'PlayStation' logo on the Vita lol since when.
It's getting great JRPG support and that's what's keeping my Vita going!
