they're obviously talking compatibility being an external. the 360 only takes overly-raped priced proprietary drives.
I just can't see myself having a need to transport anything that would require a portable HDD of that size. That being said, I do like having a huge HDD in my PS3 and that it cost me less than 50 cents per gig to do it and was not some proprietary HDD that cost 180 bucks for less than 120gb.
Not sure why they claim this one is PS3 compatible? I still have to find one external drive, or even one USB key that doesn't work with the PS3!
I changed my PS3 HDD for a 120GB last year. and buy an external case for my 60Gb and i use this HD external with my PC and PS3.
standard sata drive work well with my ps3.
a friend have a terabyte Hdd external and work with PS3.
no special disk.
