VVV: "So far we've comprehensively covered The Crew and WRC 4 with a series of hands-on gameplay videos and developer interviews. Now we're turning our attentions to F1 2013, and while the setup was not as swanky as WRC's rally replica cars with Codemasters opting for a standard controller, it gave us an extensive look at what could be the most accomplished F1 game to date.
In the first of a series of hands-on gameplay videos, we explore the new classic content with a first look at the newly created Brands Hatch"
Sad news to those wanting to pick up Codemasters Studio's Race Driver GRID and Dirt 3 after missing out on the recent Humble Bundle giveaway, the studio has delisted both games and F1 2013 from the Steam Storefront from as early as 31st December 2016.
The dangers of an all digital future. I will never get people who are rallying for that.
I want to be able to play those games when I die, But that will only be possible in disc format. I doubt i'll have wifi.
Xbox Wire:
It’s not quite time for summer vacation, but May is a time for sunny days, warm weather, and plenty of great gaming courtesy of Games with Gold. In May, Games with Gold is adding CastleStorm: Definitive Edition, an awesome tower-defense brawler mashup title, for free, as well as extending Pool Nation in Games with Gold for another month on Xbox One. On the Xbox 360 front, two great games are coming free in May: Mafia II, a third-person action game that immerses players in the dark and unforgiving world of the Mafia in the 1940’s and 50’s, and F1 2013, a realistic, open-wheel racing sim. As usual, all games are available only for a limited time*, as part of the ongoing Games with Gold program.
Wow, looks like both the PS+ free games and Games With Gold are striking out in May!!
Happy to see CastleStorm on the list. Its a game I was interested in but was probably not willing to buy.
MS we gotta do better than that!
how bout Lords of the fallen to usher in ur new partnership with deck 13
Steve from Gamespresso argues that it's time for Codemasters to stop releasing new F1 games annually, stating that they should either add new liveries and licences to existing games as DLC, or not release a game at all.
F1 2015 is going to be released Q1 2015. It is going to be "true" next gen game codies say. Over 2 years they have worked on that game. If it fails ..
The author of the article seems mad for whatever reasons that don't make any sense, the F1 racing series is a very popular which has had great success is sales from 2010 to now.
Can't wait to play F1 2015 in march/april if not mistaken (game is suppose to come out a month or so early before the F1 season starts).
Got 2010, 2012 , 2013 , skipping 2014 just nothing new in there, 2015 is the true next gen
it looks good, if they just added some head tracking it'd be an instant buy. Kinect/pscam can do that stuff, ya?
I've tried head tracking in GT5 and Forza 4, and although it sounds good on paper, I rarely use it nowadays. I don't miss it at all.
Yeah, Head-Tracking isn't all that great because you look turn your head away from the screen to make the screen show something else and then you cross your eyes to still see the screen... even looking to the side with the second stick is annoying because inprecise and then distorts the feel for steering... but let me tell you... with Oculus this will become extremely awesome. I tried it recently and looking into corners while still having the perfect feel for steering is probably one of the biggest jumps in immersion ever!
