CCC says: "Stephane D’Astous, founder and former general manager of Eidos Montreal, resigned from his position due to “irreconcilable” differences. His resignation comes after a major restructuring of the Square hierarchy. His departure, combined with the departure of other Square Enix bosses and the massive financial loss the company’s claiming, reveals major trouble for the Japanese-owned developer."

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.
EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.
Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.
This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

Not surprising. The Question is, can they recover and avoid bankruptcy.
What would happen if they did hit bankruptcy? Honest question...just a what if scenario, I'm curious
Would they have to sell their IP's to people ?
I thought they were doing well, every american studio title they have release has been awesome (deus ex, sleeping dogs, tomb raider ect)
Sony! Buy Edios away from Square and have Edios work on a new IP. Square would make a profit and they will also be able to do what they do best; work on JRPG's. That's what they were successful at. They aren't good at developing Western games, just let Sony get a hold of them. I really think that Edios would make a great studio that can do a Resistance reboot. I'd love to see their take on that series
Square japan has 3 hard hitters coming within the next 2 fiscal years, Final Fantasy XIV: ARR, Final Fantasy XV, and Kingdom Hearts 3. I'm pretty sure they will turn things around.
