‘Killer is Dead’ TV #2: Betty, the 4th Mondo Girl, is also a pre-order bonus

This week, in the second episode of KID TV, we learn that there’s actually more than one pre-order bonus that gamers can receive. Heck, there’s at least three.

On top of the Gigolo Glasses, pre-ordering the game will also let players “obtain” Betty, the fourth Mondo Girls (think Bond Girls from the James Bond films, hit that link to see which of your favourite voice actresses will play the role of these psuedo love interests), who is described as a sophisticated lady that plays hard to get – even when it comes suave man about town, “Mr. Executioner Gigolo” Mondo Zappa.

Kadokawa Games executive producer Yoshimi Yasuda and Grasshopper Manufacture executive director Goichi Suda (Suda51) were invited as special guests on the show, and between the two of them they shared quite a few interesting nuggets on Killer is Dead’s development.

For instance, development for Killer is Dead actually started way before Lollipop Chainsaw, the previous game that both Yasuda and Suda worked on, was released.

Peerless?

I’ve always heard his games have repetitive portions. I appreciate unique and creative games, but repetition dilutes even the greatest games (ie Arkham Asylum).

Shadows of the damned was pretty wild. That and lollipop chainsaw are the only ones ive played but I’d give it to SoTD.
