Its supposed to be like this yes. but as soon as nintendo announced the wiiU, sony and microsoft felt they had to keep up and pre-maturely announce the ps4 and 720 or what?? lol

I think the PS3 will kill the PS4 sales. Think about it, AC4, Batman, BF4, Watch_Dogs, GTA5, GT6 and more will all be coming out around the PS4 launch. What reason will people have to buy a PS4 when most of these games will be coming to a console they already own?

Killzone and Knack is not enough.

This is why I'm going to wait a long while before buying a Wii U and PS4. There's still a lot of games to look forward to on current consoles. So, there's really no rush to buy the upcoming systems since they won't have many games until much later.

This exactly. While I'm excited for what the next-gen will bring, the current gen is keeping me more than entertained with the likes of Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2 and Battlefield 3. With Battlefield 4, The Last of Us, Watch Dogs and more on the way, what reason do I have to jump onto the PS4 bandwagon straight away?

For me, the PS4 is very much a longer-term consideration.

sony have always used this method. It works for them in general. Nobody is forced to jump into the next gen because the support for their current has been dropped. Sony will continue to support the current for as long as possible. How they handle this gens transition remains to be seen, but their trac.k record is a great indicator

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing693d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy853d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
