It's a really cool thing that developers seem to be rather enthusiastic about working on the PS4. They'll have a bigger room for creativity since they won't have to struggle with the hardware as much as they did in the early days of the PS3.
Yeah, Sony made very wise engineering decisions (to paraphrase John Carmack). This bodes very well for the PS4.

Also note how the guy from Ubisoft admits that these consoles should be easier to develop for and therefore cheaper while EA is claiming they will be more expensive in the beginning. EA and Activision are going to use pretty pictures to raise the price of games.
