Back in August Nintendo made a Gold Nunchuk available on Club Nintendo in North America, for those who wanted to have a bit of an Olympic feel to their Wii gaming. It really was a thing of beauty and a must have item for those with the limited edition Skyward Sword Gold Wii Remote.
Naturally they were snapped up very quickly, and those North Americans with a keen eye may have seen its return last Monday when Nintendo threw some more into the mix. You would have had to have been quick, though, as they were snapped up faster than a Mario game on a home console launch day, leaving many people disappointed once more.
Luckily Nintendo will be making even more available this coming January, which should give you plenty of time to collect the necessary 900 coins needed to swipe one. There’s no official date yet, but knowing Nintendo it’ll just haphazardly throw them out on a random day, so be ready!
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
The Nintendo Switch is potentially nearing its lifespan, and several Wii U games haven't found their way over as ports yet.
I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.
The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.
This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.
Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
I want this to match my gold Wiimote, wish they would sell them in stores, don't have enough coins
A bit of tape and gold spray paint works wonders.
Nice little collectible. I'd probably get one if I had the coins and/or a gold Wiimote to go with it.
I saw that it would be hitting on that Monday, so I made sure my account was ready; I have the Skyward Sword Wii remote, so I wanted this to go alongside it. Still, I'm surprised it sold out so quickly again, as 900 coins is a pretty big number to hit.
