Being FORCED to buy another 360 because your original broke isn't a choice. Seeing a really good deal and picking up another console, be it PS3 or 360, because a really good deal and you can put it in another room for movies etc IS a choice and i see no problem with it.

Hell i have a PS3 and 360 in my room and another PS3 in the living room for blurays and Netflix, it's not uncommon anymore.

Looks like that might be a walmart ad, a $200 PS3 would be a great deal in its own right but being packaged with two of the PS3s top franchises is great and a great introduction to being a PS3 owner.

"Door Busters" come in very limited quantities though, hopefully there's a permanent price drop to $200 on that 250Gb Super Slim right after the holiday season though, I expect $229 as Sony doesn't like to drop so much at once. They'll make their sales for Christmas then drop the price slightly to keep the sales going after.

What you said was wrong though. I have never seen anyone try so hard to skew numbers. I don't even really understand why you would try to skew the numbers. Infamous Collection= 30 bucks maybe 40 in some places. UC dual pack = 20 or 30 depending on where and when you buy it. At most, you save 70 bucks.(plus whatever the hardware discount is) I bet you could find them for cheaper if you bought them individually too. i get why they are doing this to get the new people & casuals to get this, but if sony really wanted to make a killing sales wise they need to give us current owners of old phat models an option. If they released the new super slim with no HDD & no games for $149.99, make it just bare bones console pretty much at the audience of people looking to "upgrade" or just replace there old ps3 they would have quite a few people lining up to get it myself included.

The other reason for the bare bones edition is most of us who need to replace a console already have or have played all of the games they are giving away for free. Just makes way to much sense to have a package aimed at more than one market!
