First screenshot of Desmond in Assassin's Creed III

Desmond Miles, Rebecca Crane, and Shaun Hastings show up in a new screenshot for Assassin's Creed 3. This is the first look at the characters in the new game, and some changes can be noticed.

Marlec, just to let you know, the base models for Desmond, Altair, Ezio and Connor are all the same.

Meaning Connor looks like Desmond, it's not Desmond's face that's changed.

I hear wat your saying Eamon, i am not saying for sure as the pic is vague but it does look different to me. The nose & cheek bones resemble the face of conner from the new Connor trailer.

I guess we will see when the game arrives.

this game on a new engine looking sweet. I just can't get into AC series i wish i could but every time i try it its just not for me. But overall these are very good games

my biggest turn off is the combat if somehow they can make that into kickass combat moves/weapons etc i would be all for it. I feel like overall these games are so polished yet the combat is at a basic level and hasn't gotten that much better

Now if this has better combat and i hope it does than i would love to give this series another shot

If you look at some of the eurogamer demo videos for the game, you can actually control Desmond in the standard "run forever" loading screens. He looks like he means business ^^

That is a question, for me, needs to answered in this game. In the first one the eagle vision proves she was good then that happened. I would like to see of there was a reason for this or what she got was simply lazy writing and wanting a big WTF ending.

The Lucy appearing as Blue in Eagle Vision doesn't mean she wasn't a double agent.

Eagle Vision isn't a 100% correct system. It works on the assassin's own instinct of determining ally from enemy. In AC1, Al Mualim was shown in blue when Altair did Eagle Vision, until the end where he appears in red.

Also, in Brotherhood, you see Lucy's footsteps outside the villa as red in eagle vision.

If you view the final multiplayer video in Revelations, you'll find out that the Templars plan to execute a plan to kill William. Daniel Cross (From The Fall/Chain) is also present, but not shown.

Also, here's a fun fact! Daniel Cross was the one that kidnapped Desmond.

Man, too much story in multiplayer and DLC in Assassins Creed. I think I'm done with it now, it has a cool overarching story but too much fleecing to actually see it all e.g. Ezio's death being in a £7 short, brotherhood and revelations and their respective dlc.

Yeh I think I'm done with the series now. Fun games but they've run their course with me.

I love the Assassins Creed series but I think Ubisoft has gone the wrong direction with this one, I believe this game is going to struggle outside the US and I think its going to have a very tough time in Europe.

The game has a wonderful artstyle and graphical capabilities... Except for the faces. In all 4 games so far (excluding handheld games), I've NEVER once thought of these people's faces as "Gee, that person sure does have a pretty face". Desmond, Altair, Ezio, and everyone else ALL look ugly as heck, and even more ugly when in cutscenes, as they all seem stiff. When in gameplay, and the faces are not the things you look out for, I'm like "Gee, this game is and looks mighty swell!".

Hope ACIII finally solves my fear of ugly people in AC!
