QuickJump: Ever since Microsoft got in on the console game with the original Xbox, there has been a debate about which is better - the Xbox or the PlayStation. Now we have the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and the debate still rages on. Most in the know agree that the PlayStation 3 is a more powerful machine that has been troubled with less problems than the Xbox 360.
This could be fun as they make great tables. Go big or go extinct. Prime your senses for a neural handshake and step into the cockpit of a Jaeger. It is on you to cancel the apocalypse when Pacific Rim Pinball comes to Pinball FX on May 16.
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
Not much too this article but i agree on the Equal Love front.
While it's true at present gen i'm down to a PS3, 3DS (and soon to be Vita) thanks to lack of time and other comitments (decided agaisnt replacing my broken 360 because of this( having the option to play any game you want always trumps all.
Remember folks gamers play games not consoles.
There just isn't enough time in a day to give all consoles "equal love". I play on the PS3, PSP, Wii, and DS, not to mention the times when I go back and play old Saturn, SNES, Genesis, NES, PC, etc games.
Sure, I could buy a 360 to round out my current-gen console collection, but why? I already have so many games left to play on the systems I already own, there's no real reason to own one...for ME. The same goes for the guy who owns a 360 and who has a ton of games left to play. Yep, there are plenty of games on the PS3 for him to play, but if he doesn't have the time, why buy a PS3?
It's very hard to give each system "equal" love especially when you have multiple systems.
I currently spend most of my gaming on my PC than my PS3 or Xbox360 and Wii.
There isn't enough time for equal love I think. I own all current gen systems and handhelds, but I hardly find time to play say, my Wii and I don't play my PSP as much as I used to. I only get the two systems out when theres that handful of games that I MUST play every few months, then put them back down again.
Even my 360 to a degree takes a little bit of a backseat as recently, my main systems of choice have been my 3DS and PS3, my PS3 being the main gaming console for the past 4 years. However, I think it changes depending on what games are releasing for what system. When the 3DS line up dries up for a while, which is funnily enough around Vita's launch, no doubt I may be playing my Vita or even my 360 more, it's just software dependant I think. What's out on the console/coming out on the console at the time.
i have no silly brand loyalty i'll play any platform that offer quality games.
