Team Ninja takes a mild crap on Street Fighter 4 3D

It's been a while since I've seen an honest to goodness fighting game rivalry. There was the faux trash talk between the Tekken 6 and Street Fighter IV devs from late last year, but that was all just to promote Street Fighter X Tekken. I kinda like DOA better, probably because I suck at street fighter or enjoy the speed and rock/paper/scissors counter attacks... Also, DOA may have pioneered boob physics. Hopefully it hasn't been ruined since Itagaki left. I'm worried for this and Ninja Gaiden 3.

DOAD has more better content than SSF4 clone game, copy and pasted from SF4 and ps3, pc xbox 360!

one important aspect of DOAD is the storymode which SSF4 doesn't have!

I couldn't care less Xino. What I said still stands. I have nothing against DoA. I think the series needs a revival. I'd love to see a new arcade/console iteration. But I don't think this guys in any position to downplay SF, when it pretty much revived the fighting game genre, and has been the most played fighting game this generation, as well as the most commercially and critically successful.

DOA is alot better. Everyone I knew hate SF including me, but on my brother-in-law side they all crazy about SF. I got SFIV and it was terrible; I missed when Tecmo make an actual fighting DOA not one of those volleyball or paradise shit. Gonna be the first game I buy for 3DS.

DoA3(.1?) was actually a rather good game, as was DoA4. The only real issues that they had was that the game was generally unbalanced, but beside that was a fighting game that worked very well for tournament play.

I'd like people who are still unsure (but still care) about whether or DoA was actually a good fighter by looking at it being played at tournaments. Like VF5, using the same strategy over and over could not work.

However I prefer 2D fighters, and I don't get how the 3DS makes 3D fighters more important. If this was SEGA talking about Virtua Fighter, then I would agree that 3D fighters have more depth in gameplay, but DoA is very much more simplified then Street Fighter.

I never could make the transition to 3D fighters that well. The only ones that I did like were, the first Battle Toshiden and the first Bloody Roar.

I don't care. SSFIV is crap (bring back SFIII for PSN goddamnit!) and DoA is dead after DoA4, DoA:D is just a bad copy-pasta.

I could never take DOA seriously as a fighting game mainly cuz of the ridiculously sized breast the female characters have. DOA on the ps1 their titts were literaly hitting them in the face.
