NGB: ‘A survivor is born’ – Crystal Dynamics’ tagline in reference to the iconic gaming archaeologist Lara Croft and their telling of her origin story in this latest Tomb Raider game. Perhaps, it also holds just as much relevance to the reinvention of the two-decade old series that rarely broke away from its original formula.
