Ultra Street Fighter 4's mystery fifth character is a debut fighter

The mystery fifth addition to the Ultra Street Fighter 4 roster won't just be new to the series, but will be making his or her fighting game debut. Going by the wording chosen by Capcom Senior Product Manager Matt Dahlgren when speaking to The Jace Hall Show, the unknown fifth is a character who already exists in some other non-fighter franchise.

Already confirmed its not him. The fighter has ties to SF already is what Capcom is saying.

I am gonna take a really wild geus and say uncle scrooge from duck tales.

Woody Alan would be good in street fighter.

What the series is missing is a terrified dork with no fighting ability who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and is desperately trying to flee.

I'd lose my shit if it was Captain Commando! They already through in Final Fight characters, so why not?

Baka-akaB3934d ago

because he already was in a fighting game (marvel vs capcom)

CNCOMICS3934d ago

I know that, but the article specified a "Street Fighter" game. I was taking it literally.

But now that I think about it, the MvC series is still technically Street Fighter with some tweaks.

The 5th character wasnt just never in SF game , he was never in a fighting game period . I guess the article is making a mistake .

And no MVC is vastly different from SF , imo .

So it's either a sf character that didnt fight yet (like Gotetsu ) or a known Capcom character that didnt get in any fighting game , yet is still related to the street fighter universe

A bubble to you. Following the source, it clearly states a character that's never been in a fighting game.

And with Street Fighter's ever evovling/retcon-ing storyline, it could even be Chun Li's "mysteriously deceased" father.
