MasonicGamer.com has a follow up from yesterdays Article The $1000 Gaming Room Set Up...
MasonicGamer.com: When I heard of this challenge, my first thought was “let’s go retro!”. It would be easy to keep within budget, and allow me to purchase a large amount of stuff. However, I noticed that this was Brad’s approach to the task, and didn’t want to seem like a copycat. Therefore, I decided to take things in a different direction – a party gaming room!
It wouldn’t be tough – all I’d need is a nice HDTV or home projector, a decent surround sound system with kick-ass subwoofer, an Xbox 360 with a large hard drive for DLC, a Kinect for all the dancing fun, a full Rock Band set with all the accoutrements, various Kinect and party games, some nice lighting and posters for atmosphere, maybe one of those smoke machines…..

With articles like these cant you tag the games mentioned so that we can know ahead of time if there’s a spoiler to avoid?

Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
id just get awesome gaming PC parts with that money.
All in all if i use emulators i can resume all in a dual layer dvd :). Space i love space.
