The PlayStation One games that deserve an HD upgrade (IncGamers)

IncGamers: Every week there seems to be a new announcement regarding some game from a bygone era getting the HD re-release treatment. Just recently we’ve had releases of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, the Devil May Cry games, the Silent Hill series and Street Fighter Alpha 3.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I so agree with Vagrant Story & Legacy of Kain. Both games are great & the world needs to see them again.

... Heart of Darkness. A 2D platformer.

Good call. I don't think I ever got that far in it because I was only like 6 when it came out, but I remember it being fun.

This HD upgrade, and collection garbage neeeds to stop. It is totally killing the industry. We need more new IP's, and innovation not more old, stale games.

cervantes994308d ago

No, tagging the "assessable" label on every new game is what is killing the industry.

deep_fried_bum_cake4308d ago

Then how about you buy the many games which come out which are innovative and new instead of focusing on the things that aren't and crying like a little girl (toned down for N4G) about there being no innovation.

any game that is selling is Helping the industry

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy. Like...NOW!

Omega Boost needs to be remade urgently because it was ZOE before it was ZOE. I would also love to see Fear Effect, Front Mission III or the Bushido Blade Series to see the light of day.

Galerians was another a gem that need to be remade so people can appreciate it's worth (a 50 hour plus survival horror that felt like you were playing the killer, my God!)

Information Minister4308d ago

Omega Boost would be my first choice as well.

PARASITE EVE . where is it , i don't see it on the list !!!!

LightSamus4308d ago

Resi 1, 2 and 3 done REmake style would blow my mind and I'd forgive Capcom for what looks to be a disappointing Resi 6.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
