Charlie’s Top 10: Worst Xbox 360 Games of 2010

In Charlie's next instalment of his personal top 10, he now takes a look into his top 10 for the worst games of 2010. It was pretty difficult to decide as there wasn't a huge disappointment of games on the Xbox 360, but there were a few games that were clear winners for this list. You can disagree with him if you like, but he knows that many will agree with him when they check the top three... although Destructoid might not. Again, you can argue that most of these are multi-platform, but do remember, Nave360 is an Xbox 360 site, so they have their reasons.

lost planet 2 wasn't that bad so long as you had 4 friends to play with....nier was a pretty sweet game something to play when there is nothing else to do.....and deadly premonition was an awesome games if you could realize that it's not meant to be taken seriously

Mafia 2?..Whaaaa..

Mafia II? Really? No masterpiece, to be sure. But the controls? I thought it was pretty playable. Plot? Pretty straightforward, with a few recurring characters that show up to late in the game for their own good. If you play it all at once, it's pretty easy to follow(crap ending, though. Or rather no ending) Voice-acting? Okay, the main character wasn't spectacular, but the rest of the main cast were really good, I thought. I know the author keeps stressing it's his opinion, but that doesn't mean I can't disagree.

Deadly Premonition? It's the Plan 9 of video games. Despite ass production values, it IS playable (mostly an RE4 clone during actual gameplay) and you can enjoy every last bit of baffling writing and presentation. there's a part where this really cheery background music is playing when you and the sheriff and discuss that the killer could have knelt and masturbated in front of the corpse. This game is the most awesome kind of bad.

Nier, really? The game is a gem. Way to rashly assume that Square Enix had a hand in its design just because they published it. It was developed by Cavia (a tid bit you neglected to include in your article). And by calling it "Final Fantasy XIII from hell", you're just making false generalizations of the JRPG. Dark Void is probably a good one on there, though.

Mafia II? No more is needed to say, but I'll say something anyway. So, unless the voice actor is Nolan North, it's bad voice acting and unless the story is about as easy to understand as Blue's Clues, it's "quite confusing". What are you, 6? I'm 13 and also a reviewer, but again, I'm 13 AND CAN STILL UNDERSTAND IT. Just saddening.

R.U.S.E. - Strategy title. Don't play those unless it is a Blizzard or Relic game and Populous: The Beginning.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition's difficulty was "too hard" for you? HAHAHAHAHA. You're a funny guy. And Lost Planet 2 isn't a solo game, dude.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Yeah, that belongs there.

Naughty Bear - Repetitive, yeah, but one of the "Worst Xbox 360 Games of 2010"? Nah.

Deadly Premonition - Story's pretty easy to understand if you farther than a 5 hours into it. Play it till the end and a lot of questions will've been answered (and some more appearing). You didn't have to explore everything. Just power the generators and get out, Lord, man. Graphics were "beyond from terrible" (nice grammar there)? No. Pretty? No. Just average. Character took up about 30%. That's fine, just wish the camera wasn't stuck behind him all the time, but isn't that like Resident Evil?

Seriously, you whine throughout this article about your inability to play games without having a confusing story or it being "too hard". Come on, I beat K&L 2 on the hardest difficulty and it wasn't that hard. Man, you shouldn't have wasted your last bubble.

And where's MorphX? Most broken game of all time right there.

DP on the other had i bought day one cause a 20$ unknown game had to be in someway amazing....and it was for the fun silly game version of twin peaks

Yes, I have played MorphX. I got to the 4th level, and noticed how borken the game was as it wouldn't let me pass. That, with every other problem with the game made it the first game I've ever intentionally broke and then screwed up even more AFTER it was broken.

Mafia 2 is one of my favorite games from 2010. I think the voice acting is fantastic and one of the highlights of the game. I also can see how the plot is difficult to follow. Maybe Charlie has A.D.D.?

Kane and lynch 2 is awesome. What other gritty crime games are there like it? I personally loved the sh** out of it. Nier was great, def not perfect but fun and we need more games like this, action jrpgs. Infinite undiscovery is the only other similar game this gen.

have to disagree with a few here. Mafia 2 being the big one, it was really good imo. I felt like it did what GTA4 did wrong, and that was have a good narrative. While it did lack on sandbox content it was still a really good experience.

The 40th day I actually enjoyed a fair bit. I hated the first a lot, but the 2nd was a lot better and I had a good time playing through it with my friend.

And I am currently playing Nier, it could be the most underrated game of the year. It isn't perfect but it has some great elements to it. I feel like it is hugely misjudged.

Just my thoughts though.
