F.E.A.R 3 to be scarier than Dead Space, Silent Hill says dev

Day 1 Studios has boasted that its forthcoming horror FPS F.E.A.R 3 will surpass the likes of Dead Space and Silent Hill to become the scariest videogame ever conceived.

F.3.A.R. will be nice but no one can compare it with Silent Hill. Silent Hill is truly a psychological horror. It haunts your dreams for f's sake. Once you see what Pyramid Head does to people, you can't sleep easily for at least a couple of days. And I'm not even talking about how disturbing supporting characters are in Silent Hill 2.

The only game close to it *imo* is the Siren series(jugding from the short-ass demo!!) And we all know the reason why Siren's scary :)

dead space wasn't that scary to me? yea i jumped a few times but nothing that scary it was really more zombie like fun imo and never really played silent hill besides like 20 minutes of the PSP one and it was pretty scary

dead space startled me like once in the whole game, i dont know why punks get so scared. maybe i dontt scare easy from things that arent real but still damn.

in order for deadspace to be good to me is have more useful weapons, way more than 4 enemies, first game had such little enemy types, they just changed their color when they had more HP.

the bosses were easy and BORING!. and all it really had was violence.

It's nice to have dreams, I spose. I really don't think anyone could ever boast being scarier than the original Silent Hills, and I think it's stupid to do so. They're classics.

It would be like someone saying that they're going to beat the platforming pants off of Mario. Just stupid, especially since I've heard FEAR 2 was nothing fantastic.
