I agree, games do rely more on the way the story is told rather than the depth of the actual story. Take Ico/Sotc for example. They have the minimum amount of dialogue and the plots are very simple. Yet, the way in which you experience the world and see the story unfold make these games engaging and memorable. Good storytelling.

If you eventually obtain a PS3, I would recommend also procuring the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus collection to gather a wide appreciation of Team Ico's subtle and rare gems, which are fantastic videogames with a unique and peculiar atmosphere rarely seen in most games.

If this is true, it would be a little more understandable and logical. No one wants to buy multiple passes for one system.

It should be noted, however, that a used purchase of this game would require the game and the pass in order to play online. They really have made the used game purchase less attractive, save for being able to get your money back.

@Nirwanda
Very true indeed. Used games allow titles to get more exposure due to a cheaper price and a lower risk factor in buying (you can get your money back).

I recall how excited I became for MW2 after dedicating so much time to COD4. My excitement seized me so much, that on release, I succumbed to purchasing the more expensive Hardened Edition. Notwithstanding my original apprehension of its unnecessary extras, I believed in earnest the game would satisfy my purchase. Alas! after dedicating much time to playing it, the game failed to meet the criteria I expected of so popular a title. For a time, I grieved the foolishness of parting so easily wit...

No doubt the company will be fine. Let us hope Jobs' health will improve as well.

Due largely to having little time to spare freely, I will have to be prudent with my purchases in the month of November, so as to avoid buying that which I cannot immediately put to use. I am in no hurry, I shall procure many of these titles little by little, over the course of a few months, as I see fit.

Be thoughtful, a lack of humility may prevent others from growing fond of your subtle charms. Rather, become humble and generous, herein you will find all happiness and true satisfaction.

Very well Mr. Ueda. We shall wait just a little longer. And so controlling our lingering unrest will we steadfastly quench our ever inflaming desire, of bearing witness to fine mastery over digital arts and storytelling, with upright patience and humility. So shall we wait with the strengthened mask of those noble ones? Verily, we are on the edge of our chairs.

Hearken thine ears, yield to thee thine disregard, createth not petty subterfuges; heed at once this man's words, and truth shall fill thee as a chalice is brimmed with wine.

Why does The Last Guardian have to be the scapegoat for the game industry's gender inequalities?

When you focus too much on a thing, it seems bigger than it actually is.

People don't get that kind of humor here. It's a very sensitive environment at N4G.

One love, one heart, let's get together and feel alright.

Wow what a well written article! The first paragraph is so true. I cannot wait for this game!

"The two PlayStation 2 classics made by the small Sony team led by Fumito Ueda, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, have a powerful air of mystery about them. Their hazy, bleached visuals, sorrowful air and vague stories make them seem like half-remembered children's books – the kind that had some secret, solemn, adult meaning that was always just beyond your understanding, but ...

It all depends whether or not it involved the exchange of money. I'd much sooner exchange my greenbacks for a videogame than for an hour's romp.

I rather enjoyed that movie. It was quite... stimulating.

Too bad indeed. No one remembers when third-parties would hold back PS3 demos for XBOX Live? Same concept except Lord Sony is doing it now so I guess it's fine now.

Sony is doing the same thing that PS3 fans were bitching about XBOX Live Gold; holding back demos for a select few! I'm certain it's fine now that PS+ is doing it, but when it was only Live the mudslinging never ceased. Sure it's just a week, but this practice always irks me.

BTW I only have a PS3 but am sick of the double standards.
