I've noticed that Leona Lewis has not been received very well by FF fans. My understanding is that they were trying to appeal to the mainstream pop audience in the west. With only that in mind, does anyone have any other reasonable suggestions on an artist whom would be more acceptable?

I've had this game since it launched. You'll find that the music is sooo soothing. I can come home from work and just let the theme play forever..Life could be simple.

I think GTA4 focused too much on making the world feel realistic that is slightly toned down its fun factor. GTA fans were used to the quick, responsive controls and crazy action pieces of San Andreas (skydiving mission, jetpacks, Army at 6-star wanted, jacking tanks, parachuting out of planes) GTA4 seemed like a step back from all these fun things. Also, I enjoyed Niko's individual character, but I disliked how they made him just follow everyone's order--go do this, go kill him, kidnap her--...

In other words, the negative press from Fox "news" now has them on a tight leash by their new publisher (EA). I don't need the softcore, but if they never got negative exposure I'm sure they'd be more liberal in creating those scenes.

It amuses me how people will leap at any small chance to express their political views and opinions.

I like the biotic power/pistol combo at the end. Good job!

I don't really go trophy or achievement hunting often, but I've gotta say that I like the system and aesthetics of trophies more than achievements. I like how there are 3 levels of difficulty (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) which numerically translates how hard you worked in getting those trophies. For example, there are more bronze trophies than silver, and more silver than gold; the rarer the trophy, the more satisfying it is to collect them...

Which ultimately leads to the rarity o...

I just don't like the maps. Most of them I think are scaled too large and it becomes cumbersome running from one side of the map to the other in objective-based games. Other maps have so many vertical levels that it becomes strenuous to follow a path considering having to look up and down constantly for enemies.

In COD4, things were much simpler. A good understanding of the map was needed, but with that there were always tight, controlled battles and multiple "highways"...

I like how he says that even though Hollywood butchers movies based off of videogames, developers also usually butcher games based off of movies. So it goes both ways!

Just stay out of my way when the game is released, if you don't want to get hurt that is!

A lot of the people who are complaining actually bought the game(because of COD4), played it, and formed an unfavorable opinion of it. Is this so hard to fathom?

As for me, I thought it was a good game but not nearly as impactful as COD4. I like COD4's single player better, the mp maps, and I felt the weapons were more balanced.

Did MW2 deserve its sales? Of course. But so did Wii Fit and Madden, they all did something that appealed to a wider audience.

I'm with you on that, Soldier all the way. Let your squad mates do all the fancy work!

That's a HUGE profit considering the game most likely only took $100 million or so to develop and market. Nowhere near the supposed $200-300million after marketing and promotion of other Hollywood Blockbusters.

The American cover does look quite bland compared to EU's atmospheric cover, but I would never be bothered with going out of my way to replace it just so it would look prettier. While I actually play the game, the cover will be tucked away in the shelf anyways.

With that said, some more rain would have done wonders for the American cover.

It's funny (and sad) how bathyj's "comment" can be more thought out, logical, and exert better grammar than that of the "article" in which it falls under.
