Far Cry 5 was the only game in the series with great side stories/content in an environment that felt less copy/pasted, it was a big step up over 3 & 4 in that regard.

Glad they showed a good chunk of gameplay showing the other elements of the game, looks awesome.

Days Gone & Horizon aren't that old though and Sony has made it clear more is comming, Naughty Dog were hiring people with experience in porting games last year so i'd expect others from their catalogue to come as well. It wasn't too long ago when you'd be scoffed for suggesting Sony would put any games on PC, no need to get defensive lol.

There has been plenty of articles for years talking about Nintendo’s pricing for games, wether it’s about older games being more expensive or there port practices lol. It’s all about clicks, no different than all articles talking about how the 3DS and Switch would all be failures before they came out etc.

The LOTR MMO was cancelled due to licensing/contract issues, any competition in this genre is a good thing, it's been stagnate for over a decade, whether or not it'll be good is anyone guess though.

I'm not talking about the half baked Far Cry 3 Co-op campaign, more what they did in Far Cry 4 and beyond, same with Dying Light. I was thinking of just being able to play the exact same content on the same map rather than having a separate side mode, riding around the map taking out camps/nests or the odd mission ect.

Co-op is in hardly any games anymore nor am i actually demanding it, just pointing out that some of the things i said in the ...

Far Cry and Dying Light show a game like this would be great with co-op, most of the issues i've heard about this game at launch are mainly technical which is probably a result of the PS4 not being about to handle everything and stuff like length or gathering gas being annoying ect. I can't speak about everything in the game so far since i'm playing it on PC for the first time but i love what's here so far, assuming a bunch of bugs don't start popping up later i don't ...

Battlefield 4 did this, campaign was the typical movie-est affair but the multiplayer had large cuts to make it work on 360/PS3; limited to 12v12 max, less vehicles, less objectives on conquest, performance cuts and destruction didn't look nearly as good/fluid ect.

I wish they expanded on the survival gamemode in the first game, the blizzards mixed with the stellar light system was really immersive, i'd love to see them implement it into a base game in future instalments.

Kinda crazy that buying a gaming laptop with similar performance can be a cheaper alternative depending on where you are, prices on GPUs are outrageous.

StockX is bigger for products like shoes because they verify they're real before giving them to the buyer ect, they're quite large and growing.

Battlefield 4 was on both last and current gen consoles, they cut back on the game considerably to make it work on last gen consoles while the current gen version was the full package and considered one of the best games in the series, if they make similar cuts then i don't see what the issue is.

Nintendo probably has similar subscriptions rates but it costs 1/3 compared to the other two, it's most likely just 3rd party sales.

1498d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Valve has never paid developers to make 3rd party games only available on there platform and they've never tried to weaponize their install bases with an ad campaign in a law suit. Steam used the money they made to develop there store, it by far the most feature rich platform available that's 100% free for the user to enjoy while Epic is dumping money into exclusive deals/free games while their platform is slow, buggy and dated.

Do you honestly think Epic cares? They bo...

This game was the biggest in the world and there was heavy flack for accounts being locked to just PlayStation while purchases were cross platform everywhere else, it wasn’t just one fanbase.

They let hackers ruin the older CoD's on consoles as well during the 360/PS3 era so its no surprise given how much money they make off of all the cosmetics now. Heck just remove crossplay with F2P users with a setting and both platforms would be a lot better, cheating is pretty much a non issue in normal lobbies of the full paid game.

They'd essentially be competing with themselves in a market that's high risk, the last two successful games in the genre are TESO/FF and both those games are 7+ years old now.

The game was cancelled due to negotiations not working out, if they threw more money at it they might still have been making it lol, that said i found it strange how they wanted to do a LOTR MMO when they're also doing New World.

Most people who emulate don't get malware, you'd have to be going to some weird sites for that to happen, heck years ago people were getting sketchier ad's resulting in malware warning on this site if you didn't have a ad-blocker lol.
