@ captain-obvious
Welcome to PC gaming. If you're into mainstream games, you might be a bit disappointed. But there's lots of under-hyped games coming next year exclusively to us. It's gonna be amazing.
While I agree with most of the games on the list, I have to disagree with MW2. I don't consider over-glossy character and gun models with low poly-count on background objects as "realistic textures and sharp edges".
Negligible difference between DX9 maxed and DX11 maxed. This smells of console port.
Exactly. That's why it's clear that it's a port, whether they'd like to admit it or not. And they're definitely not going to say, "The PC version is a port from the consoles. We've assigned a less than desirable team to do the porting work so that if it fails, they'll get all the blame instead of us."
Bottomline - Every single multiplat game coming to the PC is a port, unless proven otherwise.
That's what we've been saying all along. They didn't use their heads at all.
Obviously, the lead designer of NT thought, "WOW! It would be so cool if I remake Dante to look like myself. My face would be on every gamer's system. Everyone would be so happy to play as me." Little did he know that majority of the gamers prefer their male protagonists to stay "male", and not go 'crack-hoe tranny'.
Not just a port? Yeah right. That's what they all say before release. Then afterwards we're left with a broken, unoptimized, piece of crap and $60 poorer.
Agreed with 'PSFan100' above. It shouldn't be based on gender. It should be the best person for the job, male or female.
"Why Japan's best should embrace the West"
What? And allow the West to come up with crappy emo-douche 'Twilight-inspired' character designs like DmC? No thanks.
I haven't seen too much hype about Ghost Recon or Gears of War 3 yet. But I agree that Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 are seriously overhyped.
One of my fav NBA players. Quite a surprise that he's more than just interested in the game.
Bayonetta is the epitome of everything sexy video-game characters should never be. I guess the character designer had a thing for Olive Oyle. *ICK*
Kotick may be the most hated man in the gaming industry, but the bottomline is that he's getting all you COD fans to keep paying for his games. You can say how much you hate him all you want, but if you keep buying his games you know you're full of s**t.
If it was from someone like EA or Activision, I wouldn't mind it that much. But by Codemasters' standards, this game is underwhelming.
LOL....Beware when Black Ops comes out. Seems like most of these 'exiles' are gonna be gathering there.
Apart from the pit-stop bugs, knowing that the AI lap-times are pre-defined takes away the air of realism from the game. I mean, qualifying is pretty much a lonely chore when you realize the AI cars are there for visual purposes only. On top of that, the no safety car thing is just absurd for an F1 game.
It's not a horrible game per se. It's just that it's quite a bit underwhelming for an F1 game coming from Codemasters. I've done a couple of seasons in Career...
Ummm....when exactly was Michael Jackson ever regarded as a "Rock Band"?
Nothing like that in this game. This is not a MotoGP game. Watch the timer on his top right corner closely. There is no "extra" time added for the warning.
This is a big problem with the game. It's not even really a bug. It's the game mechanics itself programmed to do this. I know because I've been having the same problem with AI setting their fastest times on the very first lap, which is impossible in a real race.
Really? That's what's bothering them? What about making consumers pay for DLCs already on the disc? That doesn't bother their "morale" at all?
Ahh, who am I kidding? This is an EA game after all. What else did we expect?
Not buying it, unless that panty comes attached with a supermodel. LOL!! Gotta love Japan and all it's weird crap.
That last pic in the article is a creepy one.
