They'll probably sacrifice the map/player size to implement some visual improvement to make up for console limitations, and call it "creative constraints".
The funniest part of this is that they're trying to match Starcraft 2 sales on PC with their crappy line-up of poorly-ported games. I say good f**king luck with that. LOL!
Just go home to your precious Xbox, Micros**t. We don't need your crappy games. We have devs who're several times better than you can ever hope to be.
Sure, because art-work is the best way to tell if a game looks good, right? Chances are, there'll be some visual improvements over the last game but don't expect a huge leap forward.
Yeah? Just like there was 'prone' in BC2, right? I'll believe it when I see it.
None of your recent works have given me any impression that you care about PC. You probably just want another BC2-like hype among PC fans. Unfortunately, this time you won't have any IW controversies to help your cause.
"I think it is an error to have different core gameplay on console vs PCs."
And that's where you're wrong.
Have our standards fallen? That's "stunning"? Look at the poor texture on that truck. Not to mention the obviously low poly-count. So what if it has several light sources? The rest of the visuals still look average. And jaggies too. OUCH!!
It should. If it doesn't, it either means that -
1) there are lots of extra visual content for the PC version which means it's gonna look stunning on the PC.
OR
2) It's a shitty unoptimized port like GTA4.
SEGA should fire all the people who made Sonic 4 and hire this guy.
"ERROR: This file is illegal."
Damn you, SEGA. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
That's what I was saying. Lots of people know about Fable 3. But not too many of them know The Witcher 2. I'm not bashing on Fable 3(at least not too much). I just wish that The Witcher 2 had a bigger name publisher like MS, who can really get the word out there.
I don't understand why Microsoft is even bothering with a crappy, delayed port for the PC version next year. The Witcher 2 comes out on PC by then, and it's gonna be much better than this.
After seeing all those movie-scenes from the promo vids, the real in-game graphics look bad. Overall, not that impressive considering the hype. But with Microsoft's huge marketing/advertising budget, it'll still sell bucket-loads of copies.
I wish CD Projekt had the marketing funds like that for The Witcher 2, a much better looking game.
Quick. List 5 things you like about her -
Nice cleavage
Nice dress
Big Head
Big Head
Big Head
:P
"Death from aboooove...." KILLED!!! LMAO.
More like Death Up Above.
I'm done with AMD cards. Nvidia aren't perfect either but they're the lesser of the two evils.
The Nano-Suit has to be at least in the Top 5 or your list is bulls**t.
Oh great. Another "versus screenshots" article again. It's pathetic how people can't just enjoy their games without always having to compare it with other games.
Is this thing still doing the rounds? Starting to get a bit old, isn't it? As for the name, they can call it whatever they damn well please. I don't care. In fact, nobody should. It's a game, not real life.
They should at least put the caption "Inspired by characters from WarCraft III".
So in short, you came to that conclusion purely based on your assumptions? I can certainly see why you're the "bright" one. G'day to you, sir.
On the positive side, we've got ourselves another action-packed hollywood-ish shooter that has the potential to be lots of fun.
On the negative side, there is no visual improvement over the first game, just a different environment, and a smaller one at that. This, coming from a developer with a reputation of making the best looking games, is a real let-down. I still say they're a bunch of sellouts, just like DICE.
