With most developers focusing on the "creative constraints" side for their multiplats rather than the scale and visuals of the game itself, there is little reason for an average PC gamer to buy over-the-top costly GPUs and CPUs. There is too little jump in visual improvements over the last couple of years that most people don't feel the need to have an "overkill" rig just yet.
In the "sunrise" part of the visuals, FarCry 2 on PC beats every other game, and it's dynamic to boot. Whereas Crysis still trumps the overall visuals department.
Where in my post did I ever claim MOH as being realistic, Einstein?
I won't knock it until I try it. But it sounds like I'm gonna be more than just a tad disappointed. Shows the difference between hype and reality.
There's quite a big difference between "concept art" and "in-game screens" for a game. Although you claimed neither, it's still a misleading title.
Could you also please tell Crapcom to sod-off with the "re-invented" DmC? THNX.
Obviously, Crysis 2 didn't have enough "creative constraints" to contend with. So, now we're looking at even more "constraints" for future Crytek games. Talk about going backwards......
Sadly no.
Contrary to popular beliefs, majority of the people don't like the realism element in shooters. To them, reality is boring. They prefer over-the-top, hollywood-ish style story and gameplay. That's why the CODs are always gonna be much more successful and popular than the ARMAs and the Operation Flashpoint-s. That's just the way it is.
Project Offset definitely.
Sadly, I only know 3 of the 10 listed. Guess I'm not as big a video-game buff as I thought.
On the other hand, my own list would definitely include -
Leon & Ada
Commander Shepard(male) & Miranda
Geralt & Triss Merigold
The Prince & Farah
...and Dante(the REAL one) with just about any woman he comes across with.
LMAO! It's most likely some fat hairy dude looking for underage boys.
Another "Top 10" this and that again? *GROAN*
'Cute' my ass. These are freaks of the imaginative nature.
Yeah, sure you are. And I'm Christopher Reeve.
I think this is all just a big publicity stunt.
Do you also happen to like Guitar Queer-o?
Too inconsistent. Must see other reviews.
This is why I'm much more excited about the campaign than the multiplayer.
Now now, don't be too quick to decide. You'll never know until you try it on. LOL!!
I'd give it a 7/10 for the SP. It's not up to my expectations, and it left me rather disappointed. I completed the campaign in 4 hours, which is way too short, even for a game with a multiplayer mode.
