Check out www.outofprintarchive.com I am a co-founder there and we archive gaming publications with 100% approval of the publishers. This means we don't have more than a few releases but what is there is legal for you to own free of charge.
This is why we strive to cover old games. There are plenty of people that missed these games the first time around. Let's fix that.
Maui Mallard is pretty good, just have to get used to that swinging camera (something 16-Bit platformers had in common unfortunately).
The bar is set quite high there. I have found quite a bit of enjoyment with Vandal Hearts (PSOne) myself. It is a 3D turn based strategy title. Not much compares with Shining the Holy Ark though. I am interested in seeing what is offered up for that one too.
Oh, well, since you apologize, fine. Anyhow, sorry the news item doesn't interest you. The title is true, the system was hacked. The "somewhat" that was cut off by N4G was meaning that pirates cannot steal games and run backups. Sorry that burst your bubble to find out after you clicked.
For everyone else, the article stands and so does the title. The system is hacked and usable for running homebrew and independently developed titles that Sony may not hav...
TRS, I am working on making sure it is clearer in my newer submissions such as this.
I have hundreds of these submissions on N4G and have never intended to mislead anyone. My apologies if I did.
Thanks for the advice on the title of my article and the category used here on N4G.
I have been told by mods in the past to not put the date on the article so I leave it off. Since it is causing concern of misleading readers I have started putting tips that this is an older article in.my newer history article titles. I am not trying to mislead anyone, I personally hate clickbait and don't intend to do it myself.
The category used is also because of ...
Not sure how you got that from the title as it clearly states 'on Super Nintendo'.
How so? By bringing up nostalgic feelings in the readers? By reminding fans that this game is celebrating an anniversary?
Take it up with N4G. I went with the title they offered up. The word after the comma was deleted by them. You are crying because of that? Wah buddy. Don't like it, don't read it.
Lol. Good to see trolls still roam the messages here on N4G. Good to see you two. You are a dying breed. While everyone else is having a nice discussion on the topic at hand, you two have your panties in a twist over something.
How about we keep it on topic or not say anything at all? I mean, that is inappropriate to try and derail the discussion, I would think.
Um, stupid stupid stupid comment. If you had read the article all of what you brought up was mentioned. It was made clear that while done before it has NOT been done at a level this easy.
Please read more than the paragraph N4G requires before posting a comment next time.
As far as reporting this, apparently this exploit was not covered before. Maybe the Rejuvenate option was but not this browser exploit. Nice try though.
I don't have a PS Vita TV to test it on so I had to go by the information provided by the developer. I will edit the article to reflect people are not getting this to work on their PS Vita TV's though. Thanks for the heads up.
Very true. The radio situation is very prevalent now that we have conglomerates that own record studios and such but also many of the advertisers that are paying for ads on stations. This leads to "play songs by X studio or we won't run ads from X advertiser on your station" type intimidation.
Yeah, the shady practices by Nintendo was partly aimed at the contracts situation but also their intimidating retailers to not carry "non-Nintendo licensed" product. Color Dreams, Tengen and Wisdom Tree were greatly hurt by this practice but I remember many retailers extending that caveat out to non-Nintendo consoles too. Nintendo had a lot of power back then.
Alien Soldier is like a 16-Bit boss rusg game. Very graphical and still quite good.
N4G mods report me for adding the date onto the title so that is why these articles are named like they are.
Still a great game.
Breath easy now.
No love for Vectorman? Or Alien Soldier?
Can only find out for sure if you give it a chance. ;)
*Were you ready.
