Ground Zero Texas was a great FMV game and showed how the companies were learning to add more Interactive elements.
Great game.
The inferior Playstation version has been available for about seven years now.
Oh yes but there is no port of that for the Sega Genesis so this is as close as we are going to get it looks like.
It is better than I expected.
Years ago, I cannot find the links anywhere now, I could have sworn Nintendo gave permission to fans to make "free" homage games- i.e., they couldn't charge for it in any way (including running ads on a site where the files were hosted). I wish I could find the articles where this was stated, there were people within NIntendo named as the point of contact on it (maybe those people are no longer with the company?).
A lot of the concern that Nintendo has over fan made games and the usage of their artwork/sprites/audio is due to the way the United States Copyrights are worded. There is a small loophole that could be used against them if they don't actively defend their ownership of these titles.
I agree with you though, on the way they are handling the situations. It could be done better, I would think.
Never heard of Brigador. Is it another mech action game?
Actually I do my best to cover original content type games. I run two websites that cover games and fall behind sometimes. Always looking for help if you, or anyone else is interested.
Nintendo's history. http://retrogamingmagazine....
Me too, man. That is why I am promoting it so much. I am just a fan but want to see more like this.
Me too! That is part of the reason I am following this so closely. I want to see more like this and hope other developers realize there is more to gaming than FPS's and more Bejeweled, Hidden Object, etc.
Get ready for the days of wrestling games coming out like Microsoft released Killer Instinct. One character for free, but now not only do you have to buy DLC for more characters but also their moves, alternate ringware and even arenas and rings. I am sure eventually pyro will be a DLC add-on to make Goldberg's intro look right.
It certainly looks interesting. I like the past vision power as that really changes this into something awesome.
Totally agree on pricing.
You are welcome. Finding fans of Darius is getting harder and harder nowadays. Sad because this was once one of the elite shooters back in the day.
Nintendo cannot do anything but Activision can, and will more than likely do it based on recent actions. Activision owns Blizzard Entertainment and they took down the recently found, and released, Warcraft Adventures on PC. Now, will Activision take down this fan modification to a title they are no longer trying to market to millions of gamers? Who knows, it is Activision.
I think Capcom holds the record for best method of hiding load times when they released Resident Evil on the original PlayStation.
I cannot argue with you on Thunder Force IV being better. Loved that game.
It caught my eye rather quickly so in glad it is not just me.
No problem, just concerns. I see you are not a fan of my work- not everyone is, that is life. So, you are fine with dropping money on a crowdfunding campaign that provides very little viable information to backers, plays "mysterious" when asked about stuff and simply requires fans to search out their own evidence this is real (which that Youtube video is not necessarily proof of what fans may get by backing this campaign and it is BLURRY as all hell).
But I am t...
