If you wanted power and console, then you would jump on the Xbox One X. It's the best bang for your buck by a massive gap.
It clearly says only in development, it doesn't say anything about the future.
Can you imagine how the tables would be turned if MS starts churning out great exclusives?
Phil Spencer has delivered on everything else he said so far so I'm excited for what exclusive games he will bring in the next year or two.
Bringing out best in class hardware, consumer friendly policy, and being the real for the gamer company.
That ad wasn't even funny or good.
What part of, it is only in development for PS4/PC is confusing to you?
It's implication is now, and states nothing about the future. It doesn't say, doesn't come, won't be develop or is exclusive to PS4/PC.
ziggur,
My Intel GMA can also do native 4k render, but enjoy last gen 4k games on your PS4 Pro.
You can't seriously think that everyone will agree?
Clearly a lot of PS4 owners did care, and many of them are now moving to Xbox One X. It isn't a co-incidence that the #1 reason for buying a PS4 was resolution.

As a console gamer, I do care that I have the best possible experience to play my games on.
Yeah, nothing will push PS4 games further for sure. It's great for those exclusives, but those multiplats will be massively better on Xbox One X.
So pick your poison.
Yeah. It isn't a 4k console. That status belongs to the monster, Xbox One X. So if you don't have a 4k TV, the PS4 Pro will be used to it's fullest.
Don't expect powerful consoles here on out. Sony came out with a somewhat "powerful" console with PS4, then they released the PS4 Pro which was underwhelming to the point of missing UHD Blu-Ray drive. It took MS to take a massive leap to carry the performance bar to the next level.
jay,
It will be even more hilarious when in 2-years, people will still say "in 2-years"!
Don't worry, the XB1/PS4 won't hold back the Xbox One X. It is designed with this in mind, and is why it is such a beastly monster. It's tamed though!!!
I think the surprise is how big the gap is between the two consoles and how far ahead the Xbox One x is ahead. The Xbox One X is truly remarkable in that it sports a much wider gap than what the hardware leap suggest. It’s amazing.
MS truly designed a great console and didn’t compromise.
That was one example, and because somebody has incorporated it doesn’t mean it isn’t ahead of its time. She doesn’t talk about what exactly they were doing either or may have come as she states it was high risk on technology that the studios were concerned over.
I really felt Quantum Break really advanced integration of TV show into a game. Too bad we don’t have more games doing that instead of clearly janky in engine cut scenes.
They literally did not do that, and it is very intentional too.
I don't see how something that hasn't been released can't be ahead of it's time. Something that isn't released to the public, does not mean it doesn't exist.
Anyhow, MS did release the soccer series that had the interactive component. It's not too different than what streamers do today, especially with mixer. So yes, it was ahead of it's time.
Clearly you are obtuse, because only in development doesn't exclude new development in the future.
Imagine if Horizon was done for the Xbox One X. It will look even more stunning.
